RC Deportivo de la Coruña will attempt to defend their leadership on matchday 20 of the Liga Adelante against a Real Jaén that is looking to establish itself in the middle of the table.
Despite stumbling in their last match against CD Numancia (3-3), the Galician side is currently looking down on the rest in the Liga Adelante and will be fighting for the three points they need to stay at the top, as Real Sporting de Gijón and RC Recreativo de Huelva are nipping at their heels. To do so, Fernando Vázquez will be bringing out his big guns, although he will be without Cezary Wilk, who is still waiting for the medical all-clear.
For their part, Real Jaén are hoping for the peace of mind that a good result at home would mean as it would move them away from the danger zone, although they know they are facing a very tough opponent. "Deportivo is fighting for promotion and looking to stay in first place while we are fighting to stay up. It is a very important match for both teams", stated the manager of the Andalusian outfit, Manolo Herrero.
