RC Recreativo de Huelva drew with Real Zaragoza (2-2) on matchday 28 of the Liga Adelante. The result means that Paco Herrera's team take a step towards the playoff zone while the home side are back on top and awaiting the results of Sunday's games.
Huelva dominated the first half of the match and took a lead in the12th minute with a goal from Miguel Linares, his tenth of the season, thanks to a great cross from Ángel Montoro. Once in the lead, the home team continued to control the game but Paco Herrera's men made the most of their first chance to score. Luis García made it 1-1 with a volley that levelled the match before the break.
The Nuevo Colombino stadium witnessed the most intense minutes of the game after the restart, as both teams were intent on clinching a victory. As the final whistle drew near, the referee gave a free-kick for a pass-back from the Andalusians and Diego Rico bagged the second goal after his strike from the edge of the box deflected off a defender. But Recreativo did not let their heads drop and Jorge Morcillo, made it 2-2 in the dying minutes.
