The line-ups for the 'Champions for Life' for life teams are now practically complete. The response of both players and clubs from the Liga BBVA and Liga Adelante has been enormous. An example of this is the eight players from the Comunidad Valenciana who will take to the pitch in the Santiago Bernabéu.
The all-star line-up will now include, among others, Bruno Soriano and Gionvani Dos Santos of Villarreal CF, Dorlán Pabón, Ricardo Costa and Helder Postiga of Valencia CF, Papa Diop and Keylor Navas of Levante UD, Javi Hervás of Hércules CF, and Edu Albácar and Alberto Botía of Elche CF.
They total eight international footballers from six different countries who will lend a touch of class to a great football match. They hail from Spain, Portugal, Colombia, Senegal, Costa Rica and Mexico and will guarantee a high standard of football at the charity event this Christmas.
It will be a unique opportunity to see the stars of the Liga BBVA and Liga Adelante, united for one cause, which is promoted by the Fundación de la Liga de Fútbol Profesional and UNICEF. It is a football and a charity event whose purpose is to raise money to help more than four million people whose lives were affected by the typhoon that hit the Philippines, as well as for other social projects in Spain and overseas.
